A review by Beppe Buono

(about "Hunger") Beppuzzo, che canzone meravigliosa! E' nella mia top five baigoniana. Mi mette allegria, mi fa capire che QUESTO E' IL POP e quando faremo un concerto tributo a Lord Bygon la voglio cantare io. Beppe Buono, Bologna, Italy

A review by Anthony Dini

(about "Abyss") Very original! Interesting intro really has be intruigued about this song. I like the snaps. The sound quality here is sort of cheesey, but it doesn't take too much away from the song. The lead vocalist's accent is a little strange sounding, but the articulation is surprisingly good, so I can understand most of the lyrics! The vocal tone and overall ability isn't very impressive, but it seems to work well within the context of this song. The progression in the verse here is very interesting -- definitely original sounding. I like that the chorus is easily identifiable from the rest of the song, but I think there are too many dramatic accents and chord changes in this song overall. It's too over-the-top for my taste -- almost like a pop/opera type thing near the end. Anthony Dini, Westwood, New Jersey

A review by Martin Noakes

(about "Abyss") Nicely recorded and well constructed song... Good arrangement and clean recording. It sounds like a musical type song to me. Nice chord changes and melody in the chorus. Martin Noakes, Crawley, West Sussex, UK

A review by Toby Mor

(about "Abyss") Very film oriented type of music from the beginning. It sounds as though the vocalist should be in a film noir scene in black and white. This has the 40's feel from the beginning. The chorus is fun as is the verses. Good job. Toby Mor, Denver, Colorado

A review by Eynon Shaw

(about "Abyss") This is fascinating stuff! The plucked strings intro leads into the enigmatic vocal. Not so sure about the movie soundtrack style lush backing that kicks in with the chorus... a bit too musical-theatre for my taste. However, it has variety for that reason... lots of different moods.. I loved the little sparse piano interlude before the latin-rhythmed layered backing vocal starts at 2.30. Overall, it is an intriguing piece... good effort. My instinct? This guy could write musical theatre productions. Eynon Shaw, Cardiff, Wales, UK
