Song Story:

Oh yes, the MP3 file format changed my life, giving me the chance to spread my music throughout the internet, sell my CDs and share my art with the hugest audience one can conceive: the whole world. Thanks to the new technology, I started web collaborations with great indie artists such as British songwriter Jeza - we wrote together "Sister J" and "Gorgeous Passion" - the U.S. jazzist C M, who recorded an awesome version of "Thirst" and played on "E Chi Se No? and Jon Solo, who arranged a great version of "The Edge Of My Mind", sung by Sara 6. This is the new version of "Mp3!", rearranged and recorded in the Summer of 2004 to be the last song of the new "Zenith".

Lyrics

My name is Bygon
and I've been spending all my time to turn your mind on
My soul is music
I've got a mind that's spreading love, I want to use it
I'll tell you all the truth, I've been misunderstood
just writing alone lots of songs for no one
I thought it was too late, but I went on my way
with hundreds or more of my tapes

I've been a hero,
and I've been growing up just living for my audience
My life is music
My heart is full of love and I don't want to lose it
'Cause I believe in what I am
every single song I wrote
every little thing I saw in my life
'cause I still believe in me
and I want you all to see
I'm going to show you what I'm in, what I mean
That audience was so large,
but not enough for me
'cause music and love need a huge field to flee
I knew it wasn't late when I found out the web
my audience became the whole world

EAT MY MUSIC, DRINK MY VOICE
AND FEEL MY RHYTHM
I WANNA FILL YOUR LIVES WITH MY SONGS
I WANT TO WAKE YOU UP
WANT YOU TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ME
SO LISTEN TO MY MP3

It's such a pleasure
to know that someone somewhere listens to my music
My stuff is weird, folks,
but now I know that people like the way I feel it
Now everybody talks about these new frontiers
with iPods and browsers and peer to peer
I wanna thank you all, I owe it all to you
so listen to my MP3,

EAT MY MUSIC, DRINK MY VOICE
AND FEEL MY RHYTHM
I WANNA FILL YOUR LIVES WITH MY SONGS,
I WANT TO WAKE YOU UP,
WANT YOU TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ME
SO LISTEN TO MY MP3
EAT MY LYRICS, DRINK MY CHORDS
AND FEEL MY RHYTHM
I WANNA FILL YOUR LIVES WITH MY SONGS
I WANT TO WAKE YOU UP
I WANT YOU ALL TO BE MY FRIENDS
SO LISTEN TO MY MP3

(finale) My life is changing folks, my life is magic
My life is smiling at me
My life keeps changing folks
My life is magic, thanks to the MP3...
